The Berwyn range of applicators has been developed using the advice from farmers, farm contractors, research institutes and addictive manufacturers, so as to give you the flexibility and ease of use you need. We offer a variety of pump driven and gravity fed applicators for the treatment of grain and forage crops.
The range has been developed to take into account the size of the crop, the type of treatment and your preferred method handling. There are applicators, which can be mounted on tractor, trailed or self-propelled forage harvesters for treatment during harvest. Alternatively there are self-contained units for treatment prior to storage or feeding which have a hopper and power auger for semi-automatic operations. Each model is supplied with:
- A variable speed control
- Polythene tubing
- A flow meter unit to indicate output rate
- Plastic gloves and goggles
Spray bars and spray equipment are also equipment to buy if required. The chart below will help you decide which model you need.

Jetmajor and Jetmaster

These are both suitable for most liquid formulations, whether acid-based or biological. The Jetmajor is the largest unit and meets the growing need for higher rates of flow. Both models have powerful 12 volt DC. Drive motors rated at up to 1/3 H.P. The flow rates are variable, and are set in cab by an electronic speed control. The sprayhead is supplied with three interchangeable spray nozzles and an in-built non-return valve. Optional extra available on these models include an automatic low acid shut down unit, electronic cut-off, quick connect and quick release couplings.

Micro-Meterite
|
This unit is designed for applying the full range of powder and granular inoculants to forage crops, and can be fitted to all types of tractor and forage harvesting equipment. The rate of flow is controlled by a variable speed unit housed in the tractor cab, and once started a large bore discharge tube, a spring auger and an anti-bridging device all help prevent clogging. The powder can either be released into the feed rollers or directly onto the grass window. The Micro-Meterite has a hopper capacity of 80 jg (95 litres)

Mini-Minor

For treating moist grain crops destined for animal feed, including barley, oats, wheat, maize and beans. The Minor-Minor is fitted to an existing auger and allows distribution of the liquid through the grain. The flow rate is variable to allow for different moisture levels and auger throughput. The unit has a fail safe device as an option which will stop the auger if correct treatment levels are not being met. The Mini Minor comes complete with variable flow meter, spray bar and auger strap.
